I’ve worked with many celebrities and athletes over the years, but this happened twice with two different cricketers in two different cities.

Ajay Jadeja sir in Goa.
Mohammad Kaif sir in Lucknow.

Both had just started eating when it was time to go on stage.

Neither of them said, “Give me 5 minutes.”

Neither of them finished their meal.

Both simply kept the plate aside and said, “Let’s go.”

After the event, they came back, completed their meal, and asked the same questions:

“How was the event?”
“Was the client happy?”
“Did the audience enjoy it?”

That day I realised something.
